ArchDaily and Metropolis recently recommended US Modernist Radio as part of their 11 design podcasts to start listening to now!

Your hosts are:

George Smart, the man DWELL called “the Lorax” of Modernist architecture, leads the movement documenting over 6,500 Modernist houses across America.  Visit him on Instagram at mr.modernism.  Email: george@ncmodernist.org.

George's wingman, national comedian Frank King, grew up in a Raleigh Modernist house. He is perhaps the world's only Modernist comedian and has spent over two years at sea performing on cruise ships.

Show announcer and engineer Tom Guild, legendary Raleigh radio DJ, grew up in a Durham Modernist house. He has met the Rolling Stones. He has not met Frank Gehry.

US Modernist Radio is a production of Triangle Modernist Houses, Inc., a North Carolina 501C3 nonprofit educational archive for the documentation, preservation, and promotion of Modernist residential architecture. For more information, contact Executive Director George Smart at (919) 740-8407 or george@ncmodernist.org.
